I have bi-polar, anxiety, depression, ADHD and PTSD. Also when I was six, so about 14 years ago, I was hit by a car and now I have a bad back. I’m so stressed and irritated all the time lately and it’s effecting the relationship that I have with my amazing boyfriend. Which type should I get and which place should I go to???
I don’t think anyone can answer your question. I’ve regularly seen a fine massage therapist for several years. When I see him I tell him what is giving me a problem and he works on that using any number of modalities. He has a knack for finding trigger points that often cause pain sufficient to bring me off the table. I suggest you find the best trained, most experienced therapist you can and let him determine what you need. Since you have back trouble, that seems an obvious starting point. Finally, make sure your therapist has good, strong hands. I’ve been a number of therapists over the years, and almost any one of them could give me a "feel good" massage, many just don’t have the strength to do some of the real work. Finally, while I’m not familiar with the names you mentioned, I much prefer a self-employed therapist. Mine is certified in pain management and regularly teaches and receives additional training.
Im a Reiki 2 practitioner and I have heard tons of people say that most Reiki Practitioners heal from their heart chakra. What does this mean? When I do Reiki I just feel the energy project through me.
