This is a quick compilation from google images of chakras. It begins with the drawings from Leadbeater, which provide a more considered proposition for the colors of the chakras. Notice that in all of the modern or new age style of chakras that the common spectrum (red to violet) has been overlaid upon the chakric system. For what reason was this done, by whom?
The colors and state of evolution (rapidity of revolution and clarity of color) are indicative of qualities of vices or virtues. The study forms a foundation for a type of induced evolution, a forced process, through which one demands his centers’ attention to develop along virtuous lines of intention.
Learn the basic configuration (and forget about the colors). A problem with the spectral order is that it places green in the heart center, violet at the crown, and, while red at the base center makes sense in terms of fight or flight adrenal and survival issues, the more evolved norm is for an orange glowing vitality, not a deep red (which I suggest is unhelpful for the majority).
Esotericist can make his own conclusions about blue in the throat center. While the ‘silvery blue’ that Besant accounts for relates easily to lunar influences of the third ray, is it not Saturn and green which provide a more appropriate ‘energetic’?
We recall that the colors as HPB gave (and as are repeated in some of AAB’s writings) are referred to as ‘first solar system’ colors. Thus, the personality or third aspect lowest level of colors.
By vitalizing with the colors as provided for the second solar system, that of the soul, a more appropriate-to-time influence may be effected.
Recall the colors of flame (the Solar Angels) are those of blue-indigo, and yellow-orange; a fourfold flame. Those are the evolutionary, soulful tending, VALUES. This is a study of quality and frequencies (the chakras), and so learn their place IN YOU, and realize that there are correspondences from above to below, throughout the systems. (And that is what allows analogies to be made and extrapolated scenarios and timelines to be proposed.)
